ΠΑΡΚΟΥΡ

Οι παρκουρίστες, ή οπαδοί του παρκούρ, στην Ελλάδα είναι λεπτοί, αθλητικοί και έχουν συνήθως κοντά μαλλιά. Στην πλειοψηφία τους είναι αγόρια.

Ιδεολογικά χαρακτηρίζονται από την αντίληψη ότι οι καθημερινές δυσκολίες της ζωής αντιμετωπίζονται με τον ίδιο τρόπο όπως τα εμπόδια που ξεπερνούν όταν προπονούνται. Η προπόνησή τους γίνεται κυρίως σε επίπεδες οροφές. Οι αγαπημένοι τους μουσικοί είναι οι ΑΚΟΝ και ΕΜΙΝΕΜ. Ανάμεσα στις συνήθειές τους είναι και το κάπνισμα.

Parkour fans in Greece are skinny, with athletic figure and they have short hair. Most of them are boys and it is difficult to find a girl among parkour fans. According to their beliefs, they can deal with their everyday problems in the same way as they surpass the obstacles when training.

They usually train on flat roofs. Their favourite artists are Akon and Eminem; the majority of them smoke.

Reggae

Reggae music first developed in Jamaica in the late 1960s, originated on the development of ska and rocksteady. But usually, reggae is slower than ska. Its basic characteristic is rhythm.

The instruments that reggae uses are the percussion (drums), the bass, the rhythm guitar (often plays the skank) and the wind instruments (saxophone, trumpet, trombone).
Almost any song can be performed in a reggae style.The most reggae fans have long hair and make Rasta or have beard. Also, their clothes are in the shades of green, yellow and red. The girls use three shadows to color their eyes (green, yellow, red).

Reggae connected with rastafari. Rastafari requests the Negro’s return in Africa and believes that king of Ethiopia Haile Seilasie was able to do that. The belief of a Rastafarian is that marijuana pulls him closer to God. The song lyrics often talk about violence, peace, relationships, love, religion, injustice and other social and political issues. Famous and old reggae bands are The Maytals, Wailers. There are reggae bands in Athens, such as Locomondo.

Η μουσική reggae αναπτύχθηκε στην Jamaica στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 1960. Προήλθε από τη μουσική ska και rocksteady. Όμως, συνήθως, είναι πιο αργή από τη ska. Το βασικό της χαρακτηριστικό είναι ο ρυθμός. Τα όργανα που χρησιμοποιούνται πιο πολύ είναι τα κρουστά, το μπάσο, η ρυθμική κιθάρα (συνήθως παίζει το skank) και τα πνευστά (σαξόφωνο, τρομπέτα ή τρομπόνι).

Σχεδόν κάθε τραγούδι μπορεί να εκτελεστεί σε reggae ύφος.

Οι περισσότεροι reggae fans κάνουν τα μαλλιά τους rasta, αφήνουν γένια ή έχουν μακριά μαλλιά. Επίσης τα ρούχα τους είναι στις αποχρωσεις του πράσινου, κίτρινου και κόκκινου. Τα κορίτσια χρησιμοποιούν τρεις σκιές για να βάφουν τα μάτια τους (πράσινο, κίτρινο, κόκκινο).

H reggae συνδέθηκε στενά με το κίνημα rastafari. Αυτό το κίνημα ζητούσε την επιστροφή των μαύρων στην Αφρική και θεωρούσε ικανό για αυτό τον βασιλιά Χαϊλέ Σεϊλασιέ ο οποίος ήταν βασιλιάς της Αιθιοπίας. Ένας rastafarian πιστεύει ότι η μαριχουάνα τον φέρνει πιο κοντά στον θεό. Τα τραγούδια συνήθως ασχολούνται με θέματα όπως η αγάπη, η ειρήνη, οι σχέσεις των ανθρώπων, η θρησκεία, η φτώχεια, η αδικία και με άλλα κοινωνικά και πολιτικά θέματα. Διάσημα και παλιά συγκροτήματα είναι οι Μaytals, Wailers. Reggae συγκροτήματα υπάρχουν και στην Αθήνα, όπως οι Locomondo.
